Cabiokid remains active in connecting with the local community. Special attention is given to the schools, where Cabiokid does its part of building relationships within the community of learners as well as sharing knowledge and raising awareness on rampant environmental issues. The two schools are the Sta Rita Elementary School and the Palasinan Elementary School, both situated within the town of Cabiao. Cabiokid is teaching the youth ways on how to positively impact on their environment. The training team gives regular monthly inputs about ecology to the children so they will better grasp how to take care of the environment. With the help of various environmental media especially the internet and documentary videos, we show how the environment has degraded in a span of half a century and what they can do to reverse this trend.
Also as part of greening the landscape of their school, Cabiokid donated seedlings from its nursery, which have been integrated in the school's landscape. This coming 2010 school year, the Sta Rita elementary school will start developing one of its school areas where they will plant trees and experiment with different garden designs.
